Warranty Coverage

Product Warranty

ZC Display provides warranty support for products supplied under agreed commercial terms. Warranty coverage begins from the shipment date or as otherwise stated in the applicable quotation, purchase order, contract, or product agreement.

The specific warranty period, service method, and coverage scope may vary depending on:

  • Product category and model

  • Standard or customised product configuration

  • Components and integrated peripherals

  • Intended application and operating environment

  • Customer location and shipping arrangement

  • Project quantity and commercial agreement

For this reason, customers should confirm the warranty terms for their specific product model before placing an order.

What Warranty Support Covers

Subject to the agreed warranty terms, ZC Display may provide technical evaluation and support for defects related to materials, manufacturing, or product function under normal operating conditions.

Depending on the product and project agreement, warranty support may include:

  • Remote technical diagnosis

  • Troubleshooting guidance

  • Repair instructions or service recommendations

  • Replacement parts or components where applicable

  • Repair or replacement evaluation for confirmed manufacturing-related issues

  • Firmware or system configuration guidance when relevant

  • Support for product-return assessment when required

For OEM/ODM projects, warranty and service procedures can be discussed during project development to ensure they match the product structure, deployment scale, and service model.

What Is Not Typically Covered

Warranty coverage does not normally include issues caused by conditions outside the approved product specification or normal use. Examples may include:

  • Physical damage caused by impact, improper handling, accident, or unauthorised modification

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation, wiring, power supply, or mounting method

  • Use outside specified temperature, humidity, voltage, ventilation, or environmental conditions

  • Water ingress or environmental exposure beyond the product’s rated protection level

  • Damage caused by unstable power, lightning, fire, natural disasters, or other external events

  • Damage caused by unauthorised disassembly, repair, or modification

  • Software, content, network, or third-party peripheral issues not supplied or approved by ZC Display

  • Normal wear, surface marks, cosmetic changes, or consumable parts where applicable

Final warranty determination is subject to technical evaluation and the specific terms agreed for the order.

Technical Support

Technical Support for Your Application

Display hardware often works as part of a larger system. Installation conditions, power supply, network configuration, software platform, peripherals, mounting method, and operating environment can all affect performance.

Our technical support team helps customers identify and resolve issues related to the ZC Display product configuration. To support faster diagnosis, we may request product photos, videos, serial numbers, system information, installation details, error messages, and a clear description of the issue.

Common Support Areas

We can assist with questions related to:

  • Screen startup, display output, brightness, and image performance

  • Touch response, calibration, and basic touch functionality

  • Android, Linux, and Windows system configuration

  • HDMI, USB, LAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RS232, and other interface connections

  • Network connectivity and remote-management compatibility

  • Basic peripheral integration, including cameras, scanners, printers, card readers, RFID, NFC, and payment devices

  • Mounting, installation, ventilation, and cable-routing considerations

  • Outdoor display configuration, brightness settings, temperature management, and enclosure use

  • Firmware, configuration updates, and approved product revisions

  • Replacement parts, spare displays, power supplies, cables, touch components, and other service-related items

Remote Diagnosis

In many cases, remote diagnosis is the fastest and most practical support method. Our team may help review the installation, verify settings, identify potential configuration issues, and recommend corrective actions before arranging component replacement or return evaluation.

For customised products, support may require review of the agreed product specification, system diagram, firmware version, software integration, or approved sample configuration.

Please note that ZC Display can support the hardware product and agreed configuration, but third-party software, application content, cloud platforms, networks, payment services, and customer-developed systems may require support from their respective providers or development teams.

  • Photos or videos showing the issue

  • Installation environment and mounting method

  • Power supply, network, and connected-device information

Providing complete information helps our team evaluate the issue more accurately and recommend the most suitable next step.

Support Workflow

  1. Submit Your Request
Send your product information, issue description, and supporting photos or videos to the ZC Display sales or technical-support contact.

  2. Initial Review
Our team reviews the available information and may request additional details to understand the product configuration and operating conditions.

  3. Remote Troubleshooting
We provide troubleshooting guidance, configuration recommendations, or verification steps where appropriate.

  4. Technical Evaluation
If the issue cannot be resolved remotely, we evaluate whether replacement parts, repair procedures, return inspection, or another service action is required.

  5. Resolution and Follow-Up
We coordinate the agreed support action and follow up on the outcome where necessary.

Response time may vary depending on the complexity of the issue, time zone, required technical review, availability of replacement components, and whether the product is a standard or customised configuration.

Spare Parts and Lifecycle Support

Support for Long-Term Deployments

For commercial and industrial projects, long-term product availability is often as important as the initial purchase. ZC Display can support customers with planning for repeat orders, spare parts, replacement components, and product revisions.

This is particularly valuable for projects involving self-service kiosks, transportation displays, retail rollouts, industrial equipment, visitor management terminals, and outdoor digital signage, where product consistency and service continuity can affect maintenance efficiency.

Depending on the project, we can discuss:

  • Recommended spare-parts quantity

  • Replacement display panels and touch components

  • Power supplies, cables, and mounting accessories

  • Mainboard or system replacement options

  • Product configuration records for repeat orders

  • Product-revision communication when components change

  • Alternative solutions for discontinued components

  • Planned product updates for evolving technical requirements

For large or long-term projects, it is recommended to discuss lifecycle expectations and spare-parts needs during the initial project evaluation.
